  • "I loved how systematic and clear the textual analysis crash course was. I had been struggling with analyzing all the different types of texts and did not really understand how to analyze comics very well. However, this course really made everything clear. My tutor was amazing. Not only did she answer all my many questions with patience, she also gave me a lot of confidence".

Frequently Asked Question

How do I know which program is best for me?

Why do you offer these short Crash Courses?

Most students do not strategise when studying for exams; they tend to lack practical skills and answering techniques, and instead worry about trying to memorise their notes and textbooks. The aim of our crash courses is to do away with memorising and instead build good understanding by clarifying what kind of questions to expect in the exams, what concepts to focus on and how to strategise your preparations, how to tackle key examination questions and how to improve your answering techniques.

Many students only realise what they lack when they begin their own revision. We believe that a crash course before the exams will complement their revision and help clarify questions on various key topics and concepts. This is usually done through an analysis of various past questions in a topical manner.

While most students have access to past questions and solutions, we find that a big problem is not in understanding the answers but learning how to arrive at such answers and applying them in other questions. We believe students can improve if we address gaps in application skills; by breaking down and explaining various answers to show “How exactly do we arrive at this answer and apply it elsewhere?” Our crash courses aim to do this.

What makes your crash courses different from others?

Our crash courses are designed to go beyond mere content review. We focus on exam skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and answering strategies. Our comprehensive approach, which includes reviewing curriculum content, solving past papers, attempting mock exams, and analysing model answers, ensures that students are thoroughly prepared to excel in their exams.

How are these classes conducted? What do the tutors focus on?

Our classes are conducted by our masters tutors who are well versed in the intricacies of the said exam boards. The courses are usually conducted individually (1-1) but can be done for a small group of less then 5.

We use a streamlined yet comprehensive approach to reviewing the exam requirements through topical revision.  We deconstruct key question types, analyse effective strategies to answer these questions, and help students develop a structured answering framework.  We also incorporate proprietary frameworks that help students move beyond rote memorization.  Our proprietary frameworks and meticulous deep knowledge of the exam requirements is what sets us apart.

Are your programs suitable for students of all academic levels?

Yes, our programs cater to students across a wide range of academic levels and abilities. Whether you’re aiming for top scores or seeking additional support to overcome challenges, our programs are designed to meet you where you are and help you achieve your academic goals.

What kind of support do you offer for IB Individual Oral (IO) and IB Extended Essay (EE)?

Our IO and EE crash course  programs provide comprehensive assistance at every stage of the assignment process. From drafting frameworks and generating content to conducting academic studies and editing for final submission, our experienced instructors are here to offer guidance and support to ensure your success.
